REPLACEMENT FOR KENWOOD N-53 N 53 N53 NEEDLE STYLUS

The replacement for the Kenwood N-53 N53 needle stylus is used with the Kenwood V-53 V53 phono cartridge. The stylus features a highly polished bi-radial diamond with a .0005 x .0006 inch radii. It offers long playing life, reduced record wear, precision tracing of record grooves and good rendition of voice and music. The stylus is made in Japan.

I was skeptical about claims that this stylus would be superior to the OEM N-53 stylus, or various aftermarket conical styli. This bi-radial (.5 x .6 mil versus .7 mil conical) is superior. I can now hear subtle detail in various musical passages that weren’t there previously. Female vocalists simply sound better. This stylus is definitely worth the $28.95 price. I’d recently replaced the Shure stylus in my Rowe1-5 with a Swiss brand and it immediately had issues , though it seemed to fit correctly.
