Replacement for Akai RS-180 RS180 stylus
The replacement for the Akai RS-180 RS180 needle stylus is used with the Akai PC-180 PC180 phono cartridge. The stylus features a highly polished .0003 x .0007 inch scanning radii special elliptical diamond bonded to a thin-wall Zualum cantilever. It offers long playing life, excellent tracing characteristics, and very good rendition of voice, music and harmonics.
The color of the stylus varies. Please compare with your stylus and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.Do not order the above stylus if it looks different from what you have or your stylus is missing. Instead, look at the info and marking on the existing cartridge and stylus and provide these to us. We need the brand and model number. Photos will also be helpful.
