NAGAOKA 2.0 MIL STYLUS FOR WORN MONO LP's AND 45 RECORD PLAYING

The Nagaoka 2.0 mil stylus is designed for worn mono LP's and 45 record playing. The stylus is used in the following Nagaoka phono cartridges: MP-10 MP10, MP-11 MP11, MP-15 MP15, MP-20 MP20, MP-30 MP30, MP-50 MP50, MP-100 MP100, MP-110 MP110, MP-150 MP150, MP-200 MP200, MP-300 MP300, and MP-500 MP500.

To maintain the playback fidelity of your mono record, you really need to use a stylus designed for mono records. The 2.0 mil stylus is the standard for worn mono records. The 2.0 mil stylus will trace the worn grooves properly and will not slide side to side at the bottom. The use of the Nagaoka 2.0 mil stylus does wonders to the sound quality of worn mono LP's and 45 RPM records.

Better than I thought

This JICO nude elliptical stylus is super good. I replaced the stylus on my Shure M44-7 which is more of a DJ cartridge and I didn't care much for a conical/spherical one that was on it. Everyone I talked to about a change recommended the N55 for it. It was a little pricey, and usually I'll buy a new cartridge instead of chance something I'm not familiar with, but I bit the bullet and ordered the N55 from the recommendations. To my surprise, it's one of the better sounding carts I have and that's saying a lot as I use Grado and Ortofon both in MM, and a Denon MC cart. Even not broken in, I was really impressed with it. So much so, I may resurrect my on M99E that's on one of my Dual's with a Jico nude stylus. This JICO stylus I bought is on my vintage Pioneer PL 518.

ViVid Line replacement for Shure m97xe cartridge

The stylus is amazing. The original stylus needed some adjustments. It was a bit harsh in the mid to higher. The new ViVid Line is awesome. No need to EQ needed. Everything pops out and doesn't cause fatigue. Nice lows, mids, and highs. If you what to replace/ update you Shure m97xe, this is it. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it.
