*Disclaimer: (NOT an audiophile). Having said that, this needle is a world apart from the stock 95e I had in my ATLP-120. Now I enjoyed that needle, but think it may have gotten overplayed. I can hear more fidelity, slightly tighter bass, and overall really enjoy the sound. My records sound like the way they did when I bought them, with a touch more detail. All this changing needle/cartridge craziness I read about on forums while shopping around sounds insane to me now. There's a difference and I really like the upgrade, but it's not THAT huge. :)

TP687 Turntable Replacement

Received exactly what i needed to get the turntable on my old Sanyo stereo system up and running beautifully again.

Bingo....

The PN-110 stylus (a replacement needle for a vintage Pioneer PL-516 turntable) plays great. I also ordered a PN-135 needle that is suppose to be the original (OEM part) for the 1977 PL-516 turntable. The PN-110 is playing so we’ll...that I have not tried the PN-135 to this date. LP Tunes was the second vendor that I tried to get these needles from. The first vendors product, looked the same and had the same product number. But cause some “platter-chatter.” Not the case with the LP Tunes needles. Will only order through LP Tunes from now on. A solid recommendation here for LP Tunes.

Great Stylus

This is clearly an upgrade to my original stylus. Well worth the few extra dollars.
