LP Tunes replacement stylus for AKG P8ES cartridge

I have not received this item!
I'm disappointed it won't arrive in time for Christmas .

I've been searching for years to find the stylist for my P8ES AKG cartridge. it fits great! Thank you.

My AKG-P8ES was a legendary cartridge, but it was almost impossible to get a new stylus as good as the original. LPTunes solved that problem! The cartridge sings again — detail, nuance, soundstage, it has it all. Fit and finish are impeccable, the stylus fits the body as firmly as the fixed-stylus of a Moving Coil cartridge... and it tracks effortlessly at the original recommended 1g . I couldn't be happier — and I'm ordering styluses for two other cartridges: Stanton 881S and Technics 205CMk4. LPTunes is now my "go to" supplier.

Just received the replacement needle 2 days ago. Sounds great. Original pressure by AKG mentioned between 0.75 to 1.25 gr. The cartridge is installed on a Denon DP-31L turntable with original straight tonearm. When playing form 0.75 to 1.25 gr on brand new Bill Evans trio disk, there was some distortion occurring on loud passages. To get rid of it, I had to increase pressure to 1.75 gr with same amount on anti-skating. Then the piano came crystal clear and bass man huge bass coming out of the cartridge. Extremely pleasant listening with no sign of distress. My only worry is that I hope that going from the maximum stated weight of 1.25 gr to 1.75 gr will not damage the cantilever suspension. Future will tell but this legendary cartridge even after 40 years is still a revelation in sound and space coming out of the vinyl disks.
