STYLUS FOR FISHER MT-M85 MT M85 MTM85 TURNTABLE

The Fisher MT-M85 MT M85 MTM85 turntable was fitted with a Fisher MG-09 MG09 phono cartridge and a Fisher ST-09D ST09D needle stylus. A photo of the stylus replacement is supplied above. The stylus features a highly polished conical diamond for long playing life and good rendition of voice and music. The color of the stylus varies. Please verify and use this as a guide only since the cartridge and stylus may have been changed through the years.

For a stylus replacement that offers improved sound quality and performance, refer to the Related Products.

If the stylus above differs from what you have, then it means you no longer have the fitted cartridge. For us to assist you further, we need the cartridge brand and model number. This info is usually inscribed on the cartridge and stylus.

Stylus for Pickering XV-15/1200E cartridge

Pickering XV-15 1200E Stylus used in a 625E body

My stylus purchase came in this afternoon, inspected the stylus under a USB microscope, great stylus tip! I swapped the brush with the original Pickering brush. I had been listening to the OE Pickering 625E stylus just before the 1200E install. The OEM gave a very good full sound , the 1200E is that and so much more. More dynamic and detailed, clean sounding, a very worthwhile upgrade!

Not too shabby

They did everything pretty good. Not much to complain about. The only downsides to my experience were not really in their control and they were the long shipping time, due to me being in Australia and the price of the stylus, which got a little pricey due to to shipping costs and exchange rates.

Value for Money & Honest Sounding

the Jico arrived, and I'm only about six albums in, but it is a vast improvement. For the money - I say it's great sounding, wide soundstage, nothing glassy or brassy sounding. It's on a Thorens TD160, and sure, there are much higher end stylus' that can be used, but this was a direct replacement for my Shure N95-ED cartridge.
