IMPROVED STYLUS FOR PHILCO CONSOLE TURNTABLE MODEL 841.235

The improved stylus for the Philco Console Turntable Model 841.235 features a highly polished conical diamond tip bonded to a cantilever for a firmer grip on record grooves. It results in finer detail and clarity. It also has an expected life of 500+ playing hours, which is about 10 times longer than styli with sapphire or ruby tips. The color of the stylus varies.

Awesome Products, Support and Communication

Shout out to the LP Tunes team fantastic support and follow up. My go to for my vintage audio needs

Nagaoka MP-110H Stereo Cartridge & Stylus with Headshell

Fantastic deal

Great Service and worth the wait. A great store for your HiFi needs. I highly recommend this store to everyone.

Record player up and running

There are so many different needles out there - would have been easy to make a mistake and buy the wrong one. But the LP Tune website made it clear which one worked with my Denon, it came quickly, and my record player is working again after a week. Great experience.

Needle replacement

Thanks for taking the time to find the right needle for my record player.

The VMS 20 stylus has long been discontinued. It wll cost you a pretty penny to replace. I decided to pull the trigger on this model (VMS 15) it fits my VMS series cartridge perfectly (although a tad tighter in fit). Be sure to choose the version of this stylus with the hour glass connection. Although this is a slight downgrade to the VMS 20, I am very happy with this replacement. Detailed top end, smooth bass response and fantastic soundstage. The tracking force will need to be set a tad higher than the VMS 20. VMS 15 TF should be between 1.5 - 2.0g.

If you're sitting on the fence hopefully this review will help you pull the trigger.

Note: I am using this on a Thorens TD 166 MKII turntable with TP63 tonearm

Exactly What I Needed

I have a nice little stack of irreplaceable 78s, and this does the job.
