Dual 1257 turntable pitch Turntable Replacement Belt

yes this pitch belt is supposed to be toothed to match the original, but when I searched and bought somewhere else it was entirely too loose. I bought it because I was cautious in not getting a toothed one. After I got the loose one somewhere else I ended up buying this smooth one. This one here was the solution even though it does not resemble the original. The difference is that the LP Tunes belt is significantly tighter than the original which eliminates the need for the teeth on the inner circumference. Yes this tighter belt will stress the three rubber mounting grommets that the apparatus is mounted to the frame with, but this belt is the best I could find that properly control and HOLDS pitch.

Ordered this belt knowing there are concerns out there about the speed changing properly. Belt worked first time and never had any issues. Would recommend.
