This is the best pair of noise-cancelling headphones available for the price, and a smarter purchase than Bose's QuietComfort 2 or 3 models, which have various issues with fit, battery performance, and pricing that take them out of Audio-Technica's league.

There was little difference in performance between the $300 Bose QuietComfort 2s and the Audio-Technica QuietPoint ATHANC7b. A comparison of the noise-cancelling performance showed a negligible difference between the two. And while the QuietPoints don't have quite the base heft of the Bose unit, they seem to reproduce sounds in the treble range with more clarity.
